Deanna Gray is a graphic designer and educator based in Pittsburgh, PA, currently working with the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC). At CCAC, she designs visual marketing materials, student publications, and digital content that support the college’s mission and outreach.
She also teaches Graphic Design and Graphic Communications as an Adjunct Professor at CCAC, with a focus on UX/UI, interactive media, and hands-on design skills. Her courses emphasize human-centered design and real-world application.
Outside of CCAC, Deanna works as a freelance designer, partnering with local institutions like Point Park University on branding, print, and digital projects. She previously illustrated educational iOS games at Spark Creative Play and has a background in digital production and quality assurance.
Through her personal studio, Grayariart, she explores storytelling through comics, zines, and original merch. Her work has been featured in podcasts and publications discussing design, mental health, and community art.
Deanna holds degrees in English and Information Sciences from Clarion University and in Graphic Communications from CCAC. She’s received recognition from AIGA 365, the AdFlux Competition, and holds certifications in UX, HTML, and digital marketing.
When she’s not designing or teaching, she mentors emerging creatives, supports pigeon rescue efforts, and stays active in Pittsburgh’s art scene.
